We all knew that V magazine was on a mission. In fact, it kind of slapped the fashion magazine world in the face, similar to the way Peggy Mitchel does to all her ex husbands - hard and with force. It's had Beyonce, Grace Jones, Gisele, Tyra Banks, Gaga - in fact every fabulous diva that's magazine cover worthy - on the front. This time though, it's what's inside the mag that counts. V has focused on the plus size gal for the next issue - named, quite relevantly, the Size Issue. Shoots with bigger models in all their glory grace the glossy pages. And quite rightly! If I've learned anything from losing about 10 stone over nine years, it is not to judge. I've made it no secret that I fully stand up for the plus size model in this fad diet, size zero, emaciated model saturated fashion world I work in.
