Well well well, who'd have thought Bath would be the place to talk high fashion? I mean, I've been there and the architecture is simply the most divine of all English cities, but I wasn't expecting this. The Bath Fashion Museum has announced it's Dress of the Year, and for 2010 it is this incredible Antonio Berardi black and white lace corset number. The museum has been announcing the favourite frock accolade since 1963, the year it opened.
Lucy Yeomans, editor of my all time favourite monthly magazine Harper's Bazaar, chose the dress, and who are we to argue with her? Certainly not Gwynie Paltrow who was spotted wearing the dress at a film premier two years back.
Well done Berardi, you totes (one abbreviation to far?) deserve it!
