Drape Me

Lanvin, spring summer 2010

There's something delicious about draping isn't there? It makes even the harshest of women look soft and floaty. It was a major trend on the catwalks for spring summer, the designers went mad for it, as have the high street now, and it's easy to see why. Add some draped fabric to a dress or top or even a skirt and it is instantly feminized (that's a great word isn't it?). The softness and romance of draping will make you feel gorgeous and pretty, and should really be an essential to any wardrobe (at least one item, pleeeeease!?). And there's more ladies. It's an amaze way to distract from problem areas - a dress that is draped to the side at the waist will create a slimmer line, flatter your figure as well as giving you some much needed curve-age; a draped cardi is a fantastic option to keep your layering cool.

Have a look what I've found, I love it all. There's so much, so there's no excuses, and different pieces to flatter all body shapes.

The All Saints parachute dress is by far my favourite - obviously!

Thank me later.
