Here's me and my friend Lara. Isn't she fab?! She's also the UK press manager for lovely Louis Vuitton. Although it looks like a pic from our engagement party (she is in fact happily engaged, and I am in fact happily gay), we are actually standing in the amazing space that has been transformed into a LV wonderland for the new pre-fall 2010 collection. And what a collection! I was first greeted by the Louis Vuitton leather room (first two pictures below) which, as you can see, housed some of the most gorgeous leather pieces that Louis Vuitton has to offer - the burgundy patent is of course my fav!
Next were the shoes, boots and sequined bags - all of which took my breath away. In between the stands were dotted some classicically vintage Vuitton trunks that had been pulled from the archives - if Lara's reading this, I'd REALLY like one please! Hidden away was a specially built wardrobe with some incredible pieces: think fur trimmed jackets, bold print blouses and fringing, a lot of fringing, which pleased me greatly; anything remotely linked to Dolly Parton is fine by me.
For us men it was the boots that caught my attention - have a look below and tell me what you think. I'd like those too please Lara!
