It was plus size all (or most) the way for Mark Fast once again for the new season, and once again I applaud him for his brave choices. Autumn winter bought a slightly more covered up version to his spider-web knits from last season including longer sleeves, but shorter hems. We saw crocheted, knotted and draped options of Fast's signature knitwear, and of course all were body-con conscious.
The colours were fab; berry tones, earthy greys, orange, but it was the mustard and pink hues which were the standouts.
Look beyond the incredible knit-manship and you notice a slight twinkle. Yes, it was indeed some crystals, subtly added in the same colours as the clothes. Swarovski, the sparkle kings, were responsible - Fast is just one mainstream designer they are sponsoring this season - and to me it was a great touch to an already great collection.
If you think plus size women can't do knitwear, think again. Fast is here to stay.
