Hey!

Welcome to The Very Simon G. My blog has been going for nearly a decade, but there ain’t getting away from me just yet! Come in for fashion, fun and everything in between. Enjoy!

Showest your finest SJP, Cynthia and Kristin

Obviously we're all sitting on the edge of our pretty little seats for the release of the new SATC movie, but before that there are the promotional events to create the buzz (not that there needs one - have you SEEN the trailer??).

Last night was the Warner Bros. ShoWest presentation and awards ceremony. SJP, Cynthia and Kristin rocked up first to the presentation in bright, summery colours and later LBDs all round. SJP channelled a little bit of Carrie in an asymmetric sequined dress with fierce nude-pink heels and looking, I have to say, strangely a lot younger than two weeks previous at the Oscars. Cynthia's brown and purple print shift was just the right colour for her, and Kristin's cute, flirty floral dress looked pretty, if not a little safe (I think on anyone else it may look a tad cheap?).

The awards followed later in the evening - cue outfit change, naturally. The LBD prevailed for all three girls. Cynthia with her 60s shape cut out dress, SJP in an AMAZE layered organza mini with star detail - isn't she just?! - and Kristin wearing an embellished satin number that nipped in at the waist. Although it was a gorgeous dress, it was noticeably longer than her two co-stars. She's always been more conservative with her dress, fingers crossed she doesn't turn frump.

I also think Amanda Seyfried looked s-lam (super glam) in her nude-grey little dress. Such a good colour on her, and the soft, romantic skirt detail and lace panel adds to her charm. Is this frock Valentino?

New name - Robert 'Dowdy' Jnr. You're 44 Rob, not 84! I expect to see this on Prince Philip! It's all just a little...beige!
