Is it wrong how excited I got when the invite to the Victoria Beckham press day landed in my inbox? Maybe! But I just love the label and obviously the woman behind it. Walking up the stairs, I grabbed Sophie's arm in excitement - she's quite used to my overly gay moments now.
It's so different seeing and touching a collection in the flesh than merely eyeing it up on the screen. VB's dresses are flawless beauties, just as I expected. The fabrics are rich in texture and the cut and colours of each piece adds another dimension to the frocks.
The sunglasses were some of the best I've ever seen, which is not that surprising seeing as VB is rather synonymous now for her oversize shades as she is for her oversize pout. The ones I have on in the pic below are 18-carat gold, hand made. The PR almost had to pull them off me. The price point for them is around the £400 mark which, taking into account what they are made of, isn't actually that terrible.
Beckham, you've done it again. I'm still in awe.
