I stumbled across Kathy Griffin's 'My Life on the D-list' on one of the hundreds of random channels on Sky ages ago and have literally been addicted ever since. Her crass, fabulous American humour is right up my street, but apparently not for the rest of the US of A.
At Saturday's Creative Arts Emmy award show, Kathy's hilarious programme lost out to the Ryan Seacrest-produced Jamie Oliver show for the Outstanding Reality Show accolade. After the ceremony, Kathy tweeted "Call the paramedics. I'm putting myself on a 5150 psych hold (a la Britney Spears) 72 hours in a padded cell, far, far away from @Ryanseacrest". And then proceeded to post this picture with fellow amazingness Kristin Chenoweth:
Nothing shocks me anymore from the fiery-haired, sharp-toungued comedienne, although I was slightly taken back by how utterly GORGEOUS she looked!! Is it just me or is her figure, for a 50-year-old, unbelievable? And the dress was just the perfect colour for her skin tone! She's no D-list for me!! Madonna, take note love.
The one other person that put a smile on my face from the night was Alan Cumming... for his absolutely fabulous blue check suit. Trust him to bring some much needed colour to the red carpet! This is so how I'd do it. Love him!
