OK, so it was Henry Holland I think who coined the term 'Mace' i.e. men's lace, wasn't it? Guess what, it's time to take note of the designer! For next spring/summer I've spotted a lot of flesh-showing pieces - lace, crochet, sheer - either way, it's time to show off your bods one way or another!
Lace for women was, and still is, a huge trend. As is sheer. The catwalks for next season were packed full of the stuff. It was only a matter of time until the men's designers turned their hand to something see-through. And seeing as though the line between masculine and feminine fashion is blurring more and more as the (fashion) seasons go on, it's no surprise then that designers are adding 'feminine' touches, fabrics and cuts to their collections.
But, as much as I love to see something new for men, I have to admit that I probably wouldn't rock something see-through - I don't think I have the body for that, just yet! Unless I could layer it up. Lovely reader, and this really is my own view, unless you are a 30inch waist with tight, toned skin, it might not look that... easy on the eye. Having said that, my motto is dress to express so by all means, go for it!

It's a yes yes yes to the jackets from me, you could easily
layer these up with a lovely tee or a lighter shirt.
*New Zealand label Zambesi gives us some racy lacy pieces*
Loving this light lace summer sweater, but are you daring enough to
try it without anything underneath? If not, maybe go for this lovely scarf!
Check out their website, www.zambesi.co.nz, for full collections and stockists
*Stolen Girlfriends Club embrace lace for summer*
This brilliant directional label, stocked on www.asos.com,
prove that men can most definitely do lace with these denim jackets
and their sheer-arm hoodies. Really love all of it! So wearable! Thumbs up from me
