Having a late night surf on You Tube, viewing videos from my favourite divas as I very often like to do (oh God, I'm coming across quite sad at the moment!), I happened to stumble upon Jennifer Hudson's version of the American national anthem at the Superbowl. Then, as I do when I get obsessed, I searched for more versions and was DELIGHTED to find loads and loads of amazing renditions by some of the best singers around (unfortunately no Dolly).
As I have a lot of American friends, and an affinity with the country (desperate to live there, New York in particular) I thought I'd share some of what I found on You Tube for your amusement. Some of the voices... just mesmerizing! Which one do you like best?
