Obviously I couldn't go to the Pooch capital of the world and not visit one of the city's most fabulous dog boutiques could I??
Everywhere you go in LA there are dogs. In restaurants, shops, malls, gyms, cars, even nail salons, everywhere. I was having a stroll down Rodeo Drive, as one does, and must have spotted about 100 little dogs popping in and out of the shops with their equally pretty owners (one who looked remarkably like Kim Kardash, just not as fierce). And they were all wearing clothes - the dogs I mean.
It's a natural thing in LA. You buy yourself some couture, and you treat your dog to matching. What else is there to do? There are a number of 'high end' doggy boutiques, and I visited all of them, but I have to say Ruff Ruff Couture really made me smile.
Granted a lot of their collections fit only the really teeny pups (chihuahuas, mini pinchers etc so unfortunately not Dhillon-size), the outfits really are amazing. Little tweed dresses, frilly mini skirts and some leopard print. I was in heaven!
