Hey!

From London Fashion Week 2011: Holly Fulton's uber-glam lady!

Holly Fulton is the one show I really look forward to during London Fashion Week. I don't know if it's my love for everything art deco, or whether it's because I love how she mixes up fabrics and colours, or because I love glamour and she does it so well. What ever the reason, I sit and smile and her collection season after season.

And this season, autumn winter 2011, Holly came up trumps yet again. Yellow tweed, inspired by the period Chanel spent in Scotland with her lover the Duck of Westminster, was followed by cute shift dresses, a couple with a fun Mongolian fur trim, some patent leather embellished with studs and some of the most glamorous of glamour swirly prints that including hands with red painted nails, Fulton's signature sky scraper silhouette and lips - lots of lips.

A distinct 1920s theme traveled down the catwalk too; in the hair, the little hats and the decadent bright red lip motif. One floor length gown bought this season and last together with it's gorgeous cloud print.

The silk pieces were my favourite; those stunning palazzo pants and column dresses.

Fulton very much sets the standard for new British talent. Her prints never disappoint, her accessories never let us down and her vision never falters. Incredible!
