There are few fashion houses up there in terms of producing an amazing collection of gowns, one after t'other. Amongst them is most definitely Monique Lhuillier. I swooned, as did most of the world, over Catherine Zeta Jones' emerald green Lhuillier she chose to wear at the Golden Globes only a few weeks ago. And now we are faced with one of the most gorgeous autumn winter collections I've seen in years!
An elegant puffer jacket (yes, there is no such a thing) was followed by delicate lace, animal print, big blouson sleeves, breath taking cocktail dresses and show-stopping gowns. Sounds like it shouldn't work altogether, but by golly does it! (ooo, new favourite saying, by golly!).
Lhuillier very much aimed this collection at... well... everyone - or more to the point a woman after a gorgeous sense of style. Trousers teamed with blouses, skirt suits and organza and ostrich feather-clad gowns OH MY!
As much as I love the separates, it is of course the gowns that took my fancy (and the amazing hair and makeup!).
