There are a few words that spring to mind after seeing an Ashish collection make it's way down the catwalk. I would say 90% of the words are adjectives (as is very common in the fashion world, and my blog actually!).
His last collection, from London Fashion Week just gone, autumn winter 2011, encompassed all those describing words from posts gone by about his previous shows: fabulous, amazing, gorgeous, sparkly, fierce... I could go on, but you get the message.
Autumn winter 2011 saw not only men strut down the catwalk (Ashish dabbled in menswear years ago and I'm so glad he's doing it again now), but also a darker, rebellious fashion child. Ripped jeans, holey jumpers (loving the new knitwear vibe) over sequin tartan trousers, slogan tops, clunky shoes and skeletal shapes.
In short, another Ashish triumph. 'And I say... thank you for the sequins...'
