It's been a while since I blogged solely about River Island, and after having a look at the collection for this autumn winter last week it was definitely time to dedicate some time once again.
As the high street goes, for me anyway, River Island have been up there as a front runner for quite a while now; in terms of design, buyers choices, price points. I think I bought one of everything last summer and winter, and I know if I was a little lady I'd be RUNNING down to a store come July/August/September to buy into the new collection.
I make it no secret that 70s glamour is my favourite dress code. River Island have done it SO well for this winter. Joan and Jackie Collins would be so proud, should they EVER shop high street ('High street, what's that dahhling?). It's all about bright colour pop blouses equipped with pussy bows, bright tapered trousers, colour block stripes, structured trouser and top combos and altogether fierce power dressing.
