Actually all these pieces are from thecorner.com because their styling team have done such a good job showing off the clothes on the models, mixing up the pieces into really wearable outfits. Just unbelievably gorgeous.
If ever there was an elegant catwalk show, it was Ackermann's spring summer 2011. Draped elegance cum origami-esque silk pajama-looking liquid eveningwear (a mouthful I know, but no other way of summing it up) made this collection one of his strongest. And, even though we seem to like bright colours for spring, Ackermann kept hold of his darker side with black as the underlying hue, mixed with the brightest of bright flashes for even more drama. And it worked. So so well.
Now's the time to buy into the master of swathed beauty.
Enjoy!
