"I think tomorrow is a 'Say Something' hat day" announced a dragged-up Patrick Swayze as Miss Vida Boheme in one my favourite films, To Wong Foo Thanks For Everything Julie Newmar.
And he/she wasn't wrong. Although today's the day when the hats come out, in all their MASSIVE glory, for Royal Ascot - not only the most coveted horse race day of the year, but also a fashion extravaganza. And, as we all know, the Hat Parade!
Here's a few from today's proceedings to get you started. Note the old lady with the falling bush on her head and Princess Beatrice's rather... disappointing choice, considering the press she received for her royal wedding fabulous oversized door knocker!
