Look at my header picture at the top of this page and you'll see just how creative Marc Jacobs can be in his advertising campaigns, and these pictures for his new menswear ad campaign prove how much Marc is willing to push the boundaries. Usually with the help of AMAZING photographer, Juergen Teller.
The legs in my picture belong to Victoria Beckham, where she was photographed in a Marc Jacobs carrier bag, poking out the top. More recently, for the new womenswear campaign, Helena Bonham Carter was Marc's muse where polka dots were drawn on her face, and her tongue stuck out.
In these pictures, artist Cerith Wyn, is photographed nude with just a big bunch of coloured balloons covering his modesty. In fact, his (modest) bum is out on show! In other images from the extremely 'out there', creative shoot, we see Cerith wearing riding boots, a jacket, and not much else.
As famous for his campaign images as he is for his clothes. The sign of a true fashion genius. Or maybe just a marketing genius... we're left lusting after actual clothes, but we are also left talking about the images. Good tactics all round!
