It was Lady Gaga who first took on the head-to-toe Salvatore Ferragamo houndstooth look when she performed on the View earlier this year (even a houndstooth piano!), and now Anna Dello Russo, editor-at-large of Vogue Japan, dared to don the monochrome amazingness over the weekend at Milan fashion week.
Known, like Gaga, for her outrageous dress, Anna was sure to pull out all the stops over the four fashion weeks, and this dress and clutch combo, from Ferragamo's autumn winter 2011 sexy secretary catwalk, has a definite thumbs up from me.
She actually didn't go the whole way like Gaga, and left out the houndstooth shoes (and sunnies, hat etc etc), but nevertheless she looked gorgeous.
I actually spotted ADR out and about at London fashion week last week, in head-to-toe Prada. She does like a head-to-toe look, doesn't she??
