When I was asked if I'd like to go to Selfridges, London, to view their exclusive much anticipated House of Dereon collection, how could I refuse? For one, Beyonce is, as I'm sure you're all aware by now, one of my celeb crushes (the girl is super human!), and secondly seeing as her mother, Tina Knowles, is creative director and designer - have you seen some of Bey's stage outfits made by Tina?? - I was super intrigued as to what was the collaborative outcome.
Well, lovely reader, it's good. Real good. Beyonce good. For autumn winter, or Holiday as team Knowles refers to it as, we're given City Jungle, a mix of urban animal print, street style hoods and safari greens all whipped up into a collection that, quite frankly, Beyonce has probably worn over and over again in some designer guise. Now it's your turn!
Standouts for me are the multi-coloured snakeskin long sleeve dress and the details of other pieces - studs, exposed zips, ruffle collars and lace. Sexy, crazy cool.
