On reflection of fashion week just gone, spring summer 2012, there were few shows that made me really interested, that left me wanting to buy the whole lot. UNCONDITIONAL was one of them. Season after season I lust over everything that Selfridges stock of the label, and when I only rather embarrassingly discovered the Covent Garden store, you couldn't keep me away! It's just all so... me! Draping, punk/80s vibes, straps, oversized tops - and that's only the boys stuff!
I went down to the show and after party, I was actually working it (filming for Fashot TV) rather than enjoying myself sadly, however it was super fun talking to Philip Stephens - UNCONDITIONAL's owner - and Jodie Harsh who was DJing. I won't go on about inspiration etc for the new collection, because Philip tells all in the video, but I would say that those strap-detail trousers, deep red boots and some of the shirts are at the very TOP of my wish list for next season.
