I had an OMG moment when I walked into the press day of the PR company that look after Givenchy. Not only did I OMG, I nearly fainted with an overwhelming fashion joy (too much? I think not!). There wasn't another single collection from the Spring Summer 2012 menswear shows that 'did it' for me like the Givenchy one. Packed full of pieces emblazoned with the magical colours and shapes from the Birds of Paradise flower, seeing this collection up close was both amazing and depressing in equal measures - I'LL NEVER BE ABLE TO AFFORD ANY OF IT!!
My standout pieces (all of them really) are those gorgeous circular jumpers,cut high at the back, and the last white jumper that I nearly cried over.
I've asked for a piece of Givenchy for Christmas. Do you think I'll get anything? I'll keep you posted!
