Never mind the Givenchy couture Madonna chose to wear for Super Bowl Sunday (which, by the way, was so overly amazing - she looked like a knock out - good job Ricardo Tisci!), it was all about her custom made throne that she stood, sat and rithed on as she was dragged out onto the stage by a gaggle of rather hunky gladiators!
Jimmie Martin, who I've blogged about in the past, is a London design duo worth their weight in interior design gold. They take old furniture, usually something Renaissance, re-upholster it and decorate it some way with their signature graffiti style. So fabulous are their designs that they obviously caught Madonna's eye, or her team anyway!
Featuring a black polished walkway and gilded poles raised above two sphinx' dripping in black Swarovski crystals, the one of a kind Egyptian inspired piece tied in perfectly with Givenchy's AMAZING clothes.
Company Director Martin Nihlmar said: “The atmosphere watching Madonna carried out by an army of dancers on our creation - even from sitting at home in the UK felt utterly electric. We [Jimmie and I] both felt such a sense of gratification in terms of brand recognition and business growth from our humble beginnings.
