The tiny last day of fashion week is MAN day, and for the last two seasons I've been a bit hooked/excited/amazed by Shaun Samson's work. From ogling his first collection of amazing design work - the tunic-over-trouser collection - I've been hooked.
And for next season, autumn winter 2012, Shaun has once again shown us that he is capable of extraordinary things. For this summer he did Mexican inspired stripes, and for autumn winter he's done furry oversized jumpers and bags (OMG the bags, I LONG for a furry Shaun Samson bag!), long string t-shirts, some with hairy attachments, others with furry SAMSON letters stitched on. And, most notably from the catwalk show, a harem of male models some with SAMSON etched out of their nearly-bald heads. GENIUS!
I'm sure I've said it before, but I love anything oversized, which is why I think my wardrobe and I have such an affiliation with Shaun. His collections really are testament to his mastery in design. Another reason to love him.
