Olivia Rubin, friend and fashion designer, showed her autumn winter 2012 collection yesterday. Now, I had a sneak peek a few weeks back but wasn't really allowed to shout about it then, now I can!
I bloody love it all! I didn't think she could really out do her oh-so-cute signature brick print, but I was wrong. For next season, Olivia gives us paper clips, keys, balls of wool and wire fence! Genius choices if you ask me. Ones that really stick in your mind. Clever woman.
The paper clips are my personal favourite. Ever since Boy George became obsessed with them, years ago, I've loved seeing them on clothes, and Olivia does it amazingly, with big knitted scarves and jumpers and tops and dresses all featuring the paper clip.
What's more, the scarves are actually very unisex. OK, so maybe not the pink one, but I have already put in my order for the grey and blue one and the black and grey 'key' one too.
The little crop jackets (below) are also a favourite of mine from this collection. They feature small layers of printed fabric at the bottom with different coloured wire fence print on.
Olivia, queen of the print, keep doing this please. WE LOVE IT!!
