Karl Lagerfeld, the daddy of the fashion world, sketched what he thought the Queen should have worn yesterday for her Diamond Jubilee celebrations.
Live on French TV Channel2 yesterday, the Chanel designer sketched Her Maj, below, stating that he would have dressed her in a cape as it was prettier than her shawl. And do you know what... I have to agree with him.
I'm all for a cape - ohmigod Giambattista Valli couture anyone? - and if you asked Andre Leon Talley what he thought, he would probably say the same. Are we thinking Karl is sniffing around the Palace for a new job? Wouldn't be so bad if you ask me!
Karl had his skivvies poised at the ready with their phones, tweeting away, whilst he sketched the Queen. This wasn't the first time he'd commented on all things royal though, having been the official reporter last year during the royal wedding.
I think maybe he should be a permanent fixture for the royals. Don't you?
