I keep forgetting that on my list of style icons, Gwen Stefani is definitely in the top five. This is exactly why... she does head-to-ankle leopard print (or jaguar apparently) with such ease, oozing such confidence, knowing how good she looks and working it with every inch of her sartorial genius. Not many people can do this.
And if there is two people who can, it's obviously Bet Lynch of Coronation Street and Pat Butcher of EastEnders, right? Not that I'm comparing a true Hollywood style icon with tacky British soap stars, but as leopard print goes, Bet and Pat are huge advocates, like Gwen.
Blumarine's autumn winter 2012 collection was actually (and I've only just seen it in it's entirety) quite amazing. A flurry of coloured furs opened the show with Gwen's animal print marking the middle and futuristic metallics closing it. Quite a fashion whirlwind.
