A Princess in Mary Katrantzou... OBVS!

Thank God for Facebook. And thank God I've 'liked' Mary Katrantzou's page otherwise I would have never spotted this picture of the immaculate, uber-fashion Princess Deena Adbulaziz in one of the designer's autumn winter 2012 dresses.

I've spoken about the glamourous set of Middle Eastern women before - my post about Sheikha Mozah remains one of my most popular - and how their wardrobes rival those of any celebrity, any stylist, probably any high end fashion boutique in the world. And now it has come to my attention that not only is Deena one stylish little Princess (she splits her time between New York and her native Riyadh, and Christian Louboutin has even named a shoe after her), but she owns her own super high end fashion boutique, D'NA, which is situated in Riyadh.

It doesn't look like you can actually buy from the D'NA website, but it gives a list of the designers they stock: from Issac Mizrahi (jealous) to Monique Lhullier and Haider Ackermann to the lovely Mary.

What is distinctively noticeable from the designers the Princess stocks is that each one is known for dressing the female silhouette impeccably - sculpting curves and oozing femininity. Middle Eastern women love this look. They 'get' structure and they understand their bodies.

I swear I should just up and move to Saudi Arabia. I'd be in my element.

Anyway, the point is that Princess Deena wears this dress with such natural confidence that I'm left a little speechless. This is such a money shot... fashion show invites in hand, on the phone, a serious-for-the-cameras expression, knee high boots with a glimmer of fur draped over her arm - COULD IT GET ANY BETTER????

Nope. It couldn't.

Gotta love a Middle Eastern Princess.
