Here it is then, Attitude magazine's September issue cover, starring a very smug looking Henry Holland wearing a very fabulous Versace shirt. Smug because he knows that shirt is something he wishes he designed. You may actually notice it from this post, personally I think it looks better on me!
Another designer that for some reason doesn't like to wear their own clothes. I get that some designers want to fade into the background, want to to remain the nucleus of their brand/label and let their collections speak for themselves, but something tells me that this is absolutely NOT the case with Henry. He basically designs for his friends and himself, and is never seen in all black so why why why is he NEVER in his own label?
Don't give me the 'he doesn't design menswear' crap. I don't buy it. He can do what he likes, he can produce a t-shirt or something. But no, he has to wear Versace. Now I don't want to buy this shirt anymore. In one single moment, I'm over it.
Damn.
