If I'm looking for something fabulous, something different, something really high end and/or something so amazingly vintage it hurts, I tend to look on
Farfetch.com. As an e-tailer, it is up there with my favourites.
If you didn't know, Farfetch.com stock some of the best pieces from some of the best boutiques across the globe and house them under one e-roof.
Last week I was invited to their Digital Dress Up evening, and knowing what and who they stock, I jumped at the chance.
The online press that attended were invited to style themselves up in some new season's pieces from selected boutiques. There was, naturally, a lot more choice for the gals than the boys, and seeing as I'm not sample size, I decided to dress up one of the models on hand instead.
What I love about this tee is that it's slightly oversized so fits a man - this one in particular perfectly - and teamed with something more masculine, really works as an outfit. In fact, the model was so impressed with my styling (big head much?) that he said he was considering purchasing the whole lot.
It is, however, less about my styling and more about educating men. Why not wear a women's top? Masculine shapes are becoming more feminine now anyway, so it's fine to do this boys. Don't be afraid, women have been wearing, or at least boring, silhouettes from us men for decades. IT'S FINE!
I dare you.
