I made it! Day five, the finale of my Boohoo.com London Fashion week adventures, and for me it's all about Ashish.
He's usually saved until the end of the week, not sure why, but like the old adage goes: 'save the best until last'. I just can't get enough of his sequins. How he manages to always work in sparkles yet NEVER look cheap is beyond me. A true master of his trade.
For Spring Summer 2013 Ashish referenced the maths geek. In fact, school uniform in general. And let me tell you... I WANT TO GO TO THIS SCHOOL!
Half sequined, half denim jeans, drunken denim jackets and picked-apart pieces that had been sewn back with contrasting fabrics. And lots of naked backs.
The maths geek theme was obviously there, however Ashish's past collections have really hooked onto a theme and ridden it - remember the Western one? Maybe he could have taken it one step further for next spring? Still, I loved everything!
