Fern Britton, I've always loved you. From your days on This Morning to now, in this uber glam Hello! Magazine shoot, my adoration has never diminished. And now you're wearing Mary Katrantzou, I LOVE YOU EVEN MORE.
It's not just because Mary is one of my favourite designers in the world, but this particular dress shows off curves perfectly. And at 55, with her new figure, Fern should wear this dress forever more. Or at least more Mary Katrantzou frocks of similar shape.
My mother has this dress, and she's the same age as Fern, and looks equally amazing. I'm sure there will be those horrible critics who say Fern shouldn't be wearing this dress, that they think she's too old etc, but come on, since Carol Vorderman out-shone Kim Kardashian and Victoria Beckham in that clinging, sculptural dress, the flag for 'older' women to wear these type of frocks is being flown.
You look great Fern. Amazing.
