Hey!

Welcome to The Very Simon G. My blog has been going for nearly a decade, but there ain’t getting away from me just yet! Come in for fashion, fun and everything in between. Enjoy!

Blog Off: Princess Beatrice in Jonathan Saunders...

This week I chose Princess Beatrice because lets face it, after hat-gate, she's yet to win back the hearts of the public in terms of her fashion choices. Did this green Jonathan Saunders dress, worn in Berlin at a school visit on Thursday, win everyone over?

Here's what the bloggers thought...

Hallelujah. Princess Beatrice has found style salvation. This Jonathan Saunders dress looks like it was custom made for her. It's that perfect combination of modern style, classic elegance and perfect fit. She's aced her fashion maths this week!

It's my firm belief that a British princess has two main duties in life which MUST be fulfilled: 1) to have an incredible wedding and 2) to champion British fashion. Beatrice does the latter perfectly! The colour. The shape. The way it contours her figure. She looks stunning - makes up for 'that' hat. Shame she didn't go for a sparkly Gina heel mind, to make it a little younger.

The rumours of Princess B working with a celebrity stylist have got to be true after seeing her in this gorgeous fit-and-flare dress. I love everything about this look, from the colour - green works perfectly with her skin tone and red hair, to the addition of a belt which shows off her feminine curves. Little B has come a long way since the 'turkey twizzler' hat!!!

***And me...***
So she's obviously had some help, help from someone who knows that green is THE colour to wear if you are a red head. Bea should literally live in this colour from now on, oh and also this cinched in waist look too. Gorgeous. Apart from those shoes. GROSS!
