I've actually already bought my wedding suit, even though we're not getting married until December. I've been all 'bridey' about it. I saw it on the catwalk nine months ago and absolutely fell head-over-heels in love with it. I needed it. That was it. My mind was made up. I know what you're thinking - but you're going to see SO many things you like between now and then!! - maybe, but nothing will come close.OK, it's Versace. I couldn't hold it in any longer. I won't tell you which one, you'll have to guess, although at some point in the near future it does actually make a little appearance in another one of these suit posts. And let me tell you a bit about these posts. I thought some people might need a steer in the right direction with their wedding suit, so I've pulled together what I consider the best and most wearable suit trends from the catwalks of this season, spring summer 2013. I've separated them accordingly, and what better way than to start with summer brights.Maybe not the most conventional choice, but let's face it, with a gay wedding, traditions and usual expectations are most of the time not that relevant. Don't worry though, there'll be black, white, check and everything in between, so don't worry. Here's some brights...These colours are GREAT if, for example, you're getting married abroad, on the beach, or during high-summer, July or August. You definitely DON'T want to be wearing black that's for sure. I made that mistake a good friend's wedding two years ago. It was the hottest day of the year, a scorcher, and there I was, head-to-toe black, POURING with sweat like a cartoon character. Wasn't fun.And if you do decide on wearing a colour, then go for a different hue of that colour for the shirt. It looks tres chic and very cool.Don't be afraid of colour. It's a good thing!Let me know if you need any help.
