My obsession for Rupaul's Drag Race has just been taken to new heights, lovely reader. I've just got wind that the hit show - now on its sixth season and going strong - has been turned into a game for iOS devices, aptly named Dragopolis!Walk by my house of an evening and you'll probably hear Rupaul's infectious laugh or one of the many bitch fights between drag queen contestants booming from my box (no drag pun intended... well, maybe just a little one), and now the other half is utterly obsessed too. Just call us Dragettes. And as of 6th May, I can now play Drag Race too. Downloadable from iTunes, Dragopolis is obviously going to outshine Candy Crush for me I'm afraid. I hope to GOD Ru has done the voice overs for it, HUNTY!I found this brief description on World of Wonder just now:
Players control a drag queen heroine, and can customize this ferocious character with sickening wigs, outfits and even their own face. In order to save the day, she races to the main stage, jumping and clawing her way past the evil Apocalypstyk’s increasingly fierce minions, all while serving up new looks for the photo shoots! The game is a free download, gamers can also recruit celebrity drag queens from RuPaul’s Drag Race, Pandora Boxx, Yara Sofia or Manila Luzon for whole new adventures for 99 cents each. You better get your game, girl!
OMG, I'm having trouble breathing right now. It's all to fierce for words. Short of pulling out my wigs and heels from my old drag queen days (I was Victoria Peckham!), Dragopolis will probably fulfill my appetite for all things Ru.Be sure to download it too, gurrrrrls.
