In January this year I was lucky enough to go to Stockholm with H&M to witness their Design Award catwalk and winners show (check it all out here). The very lovely, sweet, bubbly Minju Kim from Belgium won with what was a really fantastic, futuristic, playful collection including rounded shoulder shapes, cartoon-y colours, and inspiration taken from "Manga cartoonist Ito Junji in Japan".Viewing the catwalk presentation was a delight. You felt a sense of fun with every look, but I did wonder how H&M would turn the pieces into commercial, salable items. It was clear that whatever was chosen to be produced was not for the masses, but I was certain there would be big fans of Minju's designs.Well lovely reader, the time has now come for H&M and Minju to release the pieces, and guess what? EVERY SINGLE ITEM IS AMAZING!!! I'm so so impressed with this collection, some pieces are direct from the catwalk, others have been changed slightly, and all work so well!Look...
