Hey!

Welcome to The Very Simon G. My blog has been going for nearly a decade, but there ain’t getting away from me just yet! Come in for fashion, fun and everything in between. Enjoy!

Five days, five looks,TK Maxx style...

So as you would have gathered from my last post (underneath), I'm a bit in love with TK Maxx and all they have to offer right now. Not only is their new range, Modbox, something I will be buying into more and more, but if you do take your time in one of their stores, I PROMISE you you'll leave with amazing finds.I was challenged by the TK Maxx team to put together five outfits for five days following their 'how to shop a store' points. Here they are, for your reference:

·       Enter TK Maxx with an open mind. Your treasure hunt begins here.·       Get organised. Grab a trolley or basket and prepare to load up when you spot something you love.·       Make light work of the rails and follow this formula. Department (eg. menswear).  Category (shirts) and size.·       Deliveries arrive every day (sometimes more) and no two stores are the same, so be prepared to have a new look every time.·       What you see is what we have. There are no stock rooms, everything comes straight from the delivery to the shop floor. Remember, when it's gone at TK Maxx, it really is gone. Be decisive and sharpen your elbows...!I do get so annoyed when in other shops if you are looking for another size in something and you ask, you usually get 'Oh, what we have is out'. I just always think it's the shop assistants being lazy. In TK Maxx however, that statement REALLY is true. So with all that in mind, the fashion klaxon went off, and I got going.I started at the Gold Label rail, obvs, but then drifted further afield when I got sight of these amazing pieces. My favourites are definitely the green cords, the leopard print cardi, the studded shoes and the duck print duo. But you make up your own mind what you love. Here they are...

*Look one - the statement printed tee and half half shirt*

*Look two - a bit of tie-dye and fabulous green trousers (dog not included!)*

*Look three - the print on print mash up (dog not included!)*

*Look four - DUCK! No, really, ducks. Everywhere. New trend alert - DOUBLE DUCK!*

*Look five - the leopard's spots, and some denim*

IMG_4099 IMG_4100 As you can probably see, I didn't have too much trouble finding things I loved. In fact it took me record time to find all these looks, probably about 45 minutes which I think is amazing, considering the amount of stuff TK Maxx stock. So my advice lovely reader, take your time, breath, keep calm, AND GET SHOPPING!!!

Yours truly, The VSG x
