I don't think I've ever featured Usher on the blog before, probably because I'm usually quite 'mehhh' with everything he wears. So to actually get me to physically type words about an outfit he has on means he's obviously doing something either terribly RIGHT or just plain terrible. In this instance, it's the former. Here he is in this wonderful glittery suit, with patent shoes (what a great choice too!) and new 'do, at the Gabielle's Angel Foundation 2013 Angel Ball in New York city on Tuesday.I love it, a lot. I think it's a subtle nod to Liberace (Usher probably doesn't think so though!), but what do some blogger mates think? Here...
I like this suit, but to be honest it doesnt blow me away. Perhaps it's todays hangover but I'm neither impressed or put off by the suit. Which considering this is meant to be a stage outfit is fairly damming in itself. I think I'd like to see this not on stage to get a better idea of it.

I'm a big fan of Usher, he's got great personal style and isn't afraid to step out of his comfort zone. The suit is great and occasion appropriate. It fits well, it's fun and he keeps accessories to a minimum for a clean look. The patent shoes are the perfect finisher and the retro hair tops off the aesthetic for a look that is as thought-out and consistent as always

This takes us back to the Motown era of the 60s. The cut is slim and the white shirt stops it from being too much. What else would he wear with a sparkly grey suit other than matching patent shoes?
What do YOU think?
