Mummy G's Best Dressed...

Mummy G chose Kate Hudson in Atelier Versace as her first best dressed at last night's Oscars. She said: "She looked absolutely stunning, I have no idea how you even wear a dress like that!". And her second best dressed of the night goes to Charlize Theron. She said of Charlize's Christian Dior couture dress: "THIS is how you wear a black dress!"

And these are actually my BEST dressed of the night. First, Mrs John Legend, Chrissy Teigen in this stand-out Monique Lhuillier black printed gown. I'm such a massive fan of any gown that firstly has pockets (these were added in for Chrissy), and secondly is this dip hem shape. Mummy G LOVED it. And Mrs Matthew McConaughey, Camila Alves, in this OMGorgeous Gabriela Cadena gown. It's a knock out! One long sleeve, lots of draping, amazing colour on her.BEST DRESSED FOR ME!

Mummy G's Most Disappointing of the night...

Even before I asked, Mummy G announced that Lupita, unfortunately, was her biggest disappointment of the night. And I might have to agree with her. We both came to the conclusion that although the colour of this Prada was great on her, the fit - bust and length - wasn't quite right. It wasn't WOW enough.Also, Mummy G didn't like Cate Blanchet's Armani Prive gown either. She said: "It just wasn't fashion forward enough for her, considering what she's worn in the past!". Again, I agree with her. And lastly, Pharrell Williams in his short suit. She said: "Sorry, this just isn't for me!" Personally, I think this is wrong for the Oscars red carpet. Fine for a performance, but I wanted to see him in something fabulous!
