As a vegetarian, this message hit home. I'm not about to preach - it's not my style - and y'all have to make your own decisions, but it's just another reason I'd never go back to meat.I introduced myself to Westwood - I mayyyy have interrupted her lunch - and asked her that although she still uses leather now, might this stop in the future? She told me it's hard to stop using it for her customers, but she has thought about it. And she also said that if she ever found out that the demand for leather for clothes/accessories out-weighed that for meat, she'd have to reconsider the use of leather. Right now, she says, a lot of leather she uses is a bi-product from the meat industry.Here's Westwood talking all things climate control just before the video screening...And here's me with the Dame herself...
