I have to say, Dhilly is a very patient dog. I shlap him all over the place, and even though he has no idea what he's looking at, he's seen some AMAZING fashion in the four years I've had him. He's been to some designer's London HQs, walked round Selfridges, Liberty and many times down Oxford Street.Once in a while though, it's nice to give him a little treat. I blogged a few weeks ago about some amazing treats he was sent, and it was soon after that Mungo and Maud - the 'dog and cat outfitters' - got in touch and asked if he'd like to go and do a little shoot in their stunning Belgravia shop. He, and I, jumped at the chance. This pet shop is the ULTIMATE. It's like walking into a gorgeous boutique, just with couture leads, beds and toys. You can imagine he was in his element. Dhilly got the chance to try on all the amazing merino wool jumpers, leather collars, try out the linen beds and squeeze the cuddly (and noisy) toys. Notice the 'Pull My Leg' rhino toy below. All the limbs come off for extra fun times. He was deciding on his next bed, and the one above, although is a great choice, was a little small for him. And I loved the dusty pink, but something tells me Dhilly preferred the stripy version below. Oh, and that toy - the 'Puffacake' which squeaks - is apparently Mungo and Maud's best selling toy. People have actually come back in when the squeaker breaks to get it replaced! Dhilly got given one, and he has not STOPPED playing with it! This must have reminded him of when he was a pup and I carried him everywhere. He didn't last long in it though.Thank you SO much to Mungo and Maud for having us for the day, and for Dhilly's amazing gifts. You can shop Mungo and Maud on at John Lewis, Harrods and their site, mungoandmaud.com.
