I often find myself in the beauty halls of Selfridges and Harrods just going from counter to counter sniffing out their Oud fragrances, dousing myself in them, coming out smelling like the Middle East. I just love love love Oud. It's something I've spoken about a couple of times on this blog. And now my latest favourite fragrance is this STUNNING Maison Francis Kurkdjian - Velvet Mood.It is, by far, the most Oud-y smelling Oud I've found on my Oud journey (wow, that's a lot of Oud), if that makes any sense. It's strong, heady and powerful, which is definitely what I like in a fragrance. It's one of those Oud scents that people smell a few minutes before you actually enter a room. Just amazing.My other half can't stand my Oud obsession, it's not his smell at all, but I endeavor on my quest to smell all the Ouds in the world.
