I've gushed about Walter van Beirendonck for, ooo, years now. His creations are beyond amazing. I wrote about his spring/summer 2014 collection last year on the blog, saying how I needed it all in my wardrobe for the new season, and it just so happens that Opening Ceremony, London, had some of his new collection in last week.I couldn't help myself. I wanted to try it all on, but unfortauntely they didn't have it all in my size (boohoo), but these few pieces worked a treat! This coat is pure amazingness. It's HUGE, but it's meant to be. It's cut like a box, as you can see, but the geometric lines give it a clever contouring effect. And those lines are actually abstract interpretations of the spaces in his own house. In fact the whole collection draws on aspects of his home.GENIUS!
You MUST go and try it all on, and take a look at more on the Opening Ceremony US site here...
