I can't really recall another campaign like this that has truly celebrated same sex couples. Anyone know of any? Please do let me know.For autumn/winter 2014, in both the menswear and womenswear campaigns, MSGM - the Italian label launched in 2009 by DJ Massimo Giorgett - has embraced us gays and lesbians. I'm not for a minute saying this is what 'we' are expecting to see, but nevertheless it's a fabulous nod to our now 'equalling' existence (as in gay marriage). Some say it's just in time for World Pride too - from June 20-29th.I'm not entirely sure if this will reach out to everyone, and by everyone I mean MSGM's very straight male customer (if they have any!), but putting the almost kissing aside, these shots do show off the amazing new collections too, which seem to be all about truth and beauty.On the MSGM Instagram account, they posted some of these shots with various hashtags: #TRUTH #LOVE #BEAUTY #loveiseverywhere #beautyiseverywhere #SameLove. And one great quote by John Keats: "Beauty is truth, truth beauty - that is all you know on Earth, and all you need to know".Love this campaign A LOT!
