I had no idea what to expect at Disney World. I knew that my four-year-old nephew would absolutely LOVE it and be in his element with Mickey et al running around the place. I, however, wasn't sure if it was really for me.Wrong.The über clever thing about Disney is that no matter what age you are, there is always a movie or a character you love. For my nephew it is Frozen (he met the 'real life' Elsa and Anna), for me it's Mary Poppins (although there was just one reference to her in the whole park, and that was a replica dress... not impressed!) and The Little Mermaid. See, my parents ALWAYS knew I was gay! And at Disney World, everything comes to life, in that amazing sugary-sweet way they have managed for decades.I am, of course, just telling you all the good things about our day at Disney World. Although there were no bad points, being on your feet from 8am until 10pm, trying to smile at all 100,000 people Disney goers, trying to look half decent in 95 degree heat and having to get a train, boat, bus and tram from and to your car can get a little tiring.I did love it though, if not for anything else but to see my nephew's face at seeing Mickey (from afar though, he was scared of the six foot version up close, which I can kind of understand).Anyway, I could literally go on and on about the extremely well oiled, slick machine that is Disney (we tried to work out how much money Disney World alone took a year and came to an approximate figure of $5billion), but for now, these pics will have to do. I'm wearing a Vivienne Westwood tiger print T-shirt, rose print shorts from River Island (here in white), red velvet slippers from Aldo and ring and bracelet from King Baby.
