Fashion month may be over, but fashion editors everywhere will now be pouring over the new collections to see what they might like to fill their pages and online spaces with come shoot time. And although us men have dedicated fashion weeks now, there was still a few menswear looks on the catwalks for Autumn Winter 2015 that were undeniably amazing, and unmissable.Let's talk about Chanel first. Four menswear looks out of a total of 97... not bad I guess, especially as Karl Lagerfeld doesn't actually cater for us men when it comes to Chanel. I'm sure, if you're rich enough, you could buy these looks, but I've never seen them sold anywhere.I didn't particularly think I would be a Chanel man - from the past looks that have been scattered throughout the women's collections, I've not been overly keen on - but these four I love. The women's ready-to-wear was meant to look like French brasserie attire, and the men's matches that theme too. You can imagine Parisian men dressing like this. I love all the accessories, the coats are fabulous, and those deep red velvet striped trousers are gorgeous. Of all four looks, the layered one, with long coat, is my favourite. And now for Sonia Rykiel... The label closed its menswear line years ago, it just wasn't profitable enough to sustain designers and shop real estate, but under new creative direction in the form of Julie de Libran, might we be getting it back? Again, four looks were sent down the catwalk, all terribly chic and understated, and talking to Style.com, de Libran said of the menswear: "I had guy friends telling me they used to love Rykiel sweaters, so I thought, why not?"And again, I didn't fancy myself as a Sonia guy, but I do love the same-striped jumpers and scarves, and when you look closely, you notice the shoulder buttons - a nice twist on a classic piece.Obviously the first sequinned jumper is my favourite, but the last layered look - roll neck under V neck - I bet will be a hit too! Also, I'm going to need that carpet. It's INCREDIBLE!
