In the attempt to bring only fabulous things to your attention on this blog, I'm constantly hunting around all the amazing retail sites. ModaOperandi.com is one of my favourites.Firstly because of their trunk shows, which give you ladies the chance to buy just-off-the-catwalk collections and me lots of lovely pieces to drool over, and secondly because it introduces some amazing brands that I wouldn't have normally known about, like Mira Mikati for instance...
I know, the first thing I thought too was Anya Hindmarch, but I just can't get enough of this cartoon-y, novelty fashion. I love it. And Anya is bags, not ready to wear.Mira Mikati, so Moda Operandi tells us, is 'Co-owner of Beirut fashion mecca, Plum, [she] decided to venture out on her own after a successful venture with Faconnable in 2012. Her playful collection, a collaboration with artist Craig Redman...' Craig Redman... as in the Craig who makes us half of pop art duo Karl and Craig. I LOVE all their work (see more here). No wonder I love love LOVE Mira's collection!
