OH MY CHRIST! AS IF I WASN'T ALREADY OBSESSED ENOUGH WIHT FORNASETTI...

You've probably already seen this picture on Instagram from many other people over the last couple of days, but it's hard to not keep talking about it... this is the brand new candle and room fragrance from Fornasetti, aptly named R.I.P.

People were flocking around this plinth at the press day, like seagulls around a delicious morsel of food, cooing and oooing. I did exactly the same. It's just amazing.

In the signature scent, Otto, this one is due out in October, and features half of Lina Cavalieri's face - the Opera singer who has featured in Fornasetti's work from the beginning - and the other half a skeleton of her.

More new amazing deisngs, also due out in October, the gold backgammon-esque gold pattern and mirror effect nose and lips, namely the Losanghe and Mille Bocche.

And the below design, exclusive to Selfidges, due out in October, is the zodiac candles, with their incredible black wax in malachite scent. This really is one of my favourite designs ever I think, it's so amazing.

In short, October is a hugely busy time for Fornasetti, and an incredibly bad time for my bank balance.
