I mean, does it really get much better than this? I don't think it can right now. The only thing to top this would be to see Cher in a Ralph and Russo gown or Dolly Parton wearing a Versace suit.

And as neither of these things will probably ever happen, ever, Diane Kruger in this drop dead gorgeous BOSS dress will suffice.

More than suffice.

Just take another moment to scroll up and really really look at her in this dress. The dramatic neck line, the velvet, the deep claret colour, the midi length, the big bow to the hip, the train. OH. MY. GOODNESS.

Sorry. It's just that this might be the best she has ever looked.

And please, can we take another moment to appreciate Tilda Swinton here, in this FRIGGIN' FABULOUS Haider Ackermann trouser suit.

She is a fiercely loyal supporter of Ackermann, and it's just as well... everything she wears of his, which is a LOT, looks like it has been hand stitched especially for her, which it may well have been.

But this trouser suit is uber special. I can't work out of it's sequins or just shiny fabric. But it's that deep claret again, which looks amazing on Tilda.
