Men in floral suits... it's a 'thing'!
I STILL can't get over what Alessandro Michele has done for Gucci. It's quite literally a revelation! Breathed new life into the house. His latest spring 2016 collections, for women and men, are full with incredible looks. And LOOK, Harry Styles decided to wear one at the American Music Awards the other day. This 70s-tastic floral suit! But who wore floral better, Harry or the creator himself, Alessandro?Scroll down to see what two blogger mates thought...
"I love Gucci’s new direction - geek-chic extraordinaire!!! - but the one thing I don’t like is the suiting. Looking like Camilla Parker Bowles’ settee, the chintz factor is off the chart. But, put a gun to my head and I would say Alessandro, just because I hate Harry's choice of footwear and the black shirt is too much of a contrast with the light feeling of the suit. You can’t really see the neck flower as it’s black on black, but do love Harry for trying something different."

"I'm a little bit obsessed with this Gucci look - not something I could ever pull off so my obsession is rooted in jealousy at whoever can. I think my praises are going to fall to Harry for this one, the trousers are a little too wide for my liking but the more intricate print is a winner. I love Alessandro's commitment to the look but the shoes feel one step too far."

Harry's trousers are just too damn short! From the knees up, he looks great (although do agree with Marcus, the black shirt ruins it a bit, see below for the catwalk look). For me though, it's all about Alessandro. This is obviously how he meant for people to wear the look - he designed it! And if you're going with such an OTT print, go all the way with maximalist shoes too! LOVE LOVE LOVE.
